The regulator plans to strengthen coordination among national regulators supervising crypto-asset service providers (CASPs). They will pay particular attention to operational resilience, outsourcing risks, liquidity, fundraising, and asset classification. ESMA also intends to modernize CASPs’ periodic reporting to national regulators and promote common risk indicators. In addition, it plans to enhance MIDAS. This is a centralized crypto market supervision system for monitoring potential market abuse in accordance with MiCA.
