The European Banking Authority (EBA) noted that crypto lending needs to be regulated even in DeFi. The regulator recommended that the European Commission conduct a cost-benefit analysis as part of the legislative changes to MiCA. At the same time, the US CFTC updated its March guidance on tokenized assets. Companies will be able to invest client funds in tokenized assets if they preserve economic and legal rights. They may be either held directly or be equivalent to them.
