It plans to launch a separate venue for overnight trading with AI agent support in the first half of 2027. It will operate independently from the main LSE market, which will keep its trading hours from 8:00 to 16:30. The new platform is expected to operate from 17:00 to 7:50, with a 30-minute break between 18:30 and 19:00 for data processing. LSE aims to extend trading only to 2,600 ETPs, without individual stocks. Such trading requires additional regulatory approvals. Previously, NYSE also began developing a platform for 24-hour trading. At the same time, the UK crypto industry continues to report restrictions on access to banking services.
