Despite FTX repaying creditors at 118–142% of their claims’ value, platform customers remain dissatisfied. They had demanded compensation in cryptocurrency. Since the payout snapshot was taken in November 2022, at the height of the crypto market downturn, creditors have lost significant sums. In particular, since then, BTC, ETH, and SOL alone have increased several times over.
